Is Dr. Jensen licensed in my state?

Dr. Jensen is licensed in all 50 States.

How do I get the Direct Health App and contact the doctor?

Read our Step-by-Step Guide on our Become a Patient page on how to download the app and schedule with Dr. Jensen.

The Direct Health App can be found on the App Store or on Google Play, available for download on any smartphone. Be sure to download the app that says “For Patients,” not “For Doctors.”

Can I pay with insurance?

We now accept most insurances and traditional medicare except Humana. These are mostly PPO health insurance plans (Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, etc.). We also take MercyCare and HealthChoice in AZ.

If you would like to pay for your Direct Health visit with insurance, send a picture/photocopy of your health insurance card to Josie after you have joined Direct Health and contacted Dr. Jensen through the app.

What are Dr. Jensen's rates?

Dr. Jensen’s rates begin at $117 for a single-person consult and $197 for more than one person (family rate). However, the consult rate may vary depending on the complexity of you or your family’s needs. You can pay via credit card through the Direct Health App or through your health insurance.

How do I receive my prescriptions?

Dr. Jensen will send in your prescription to the pharmacy of your choice indicated on your Direct Health app profile, unless you are told otherwise by Dr. J or staff.

The pharmacy will contact you for payment and arrange for local pickup when possible or arrange to ship your medication to you.

The best way to have a prescription refilled is to contact your pharmacy directly. Do not contact Jensen Family Wellness with questions about prescription pickup, shipping, supply, pricing, and refilling. Contact your pharmacy directly.

Can I see Dr. Jensen in person or only online?

At this time, Dr. Jensen only offers care online through the Direct Health app, which is HIPAA-compliant and allows for both audio/video telehealth appointments and 24/7 messaging. You can message him directly for appointments through the app. Dr. Jensen can prescribe supplements/medicine and order labs for you remotely.

How do I access the Patient Portal?

You can find our patient portal on Updox HERE (https://myupdox.com/portal/jensenfamilywellness/html/index.html) and sign in to your account. Call or email Josie Brooksby at 928-224-4270 or by email if you need further assistance.

What if I do not hear back from Dr. Jensen?

Depending on patient volume at a given time, it may take 24-48 hours to receive a response from Dr. Jensen through the Direct Health App. Be sure to OPT IN to text notifications or TURN ON push notifications for the Direct Health app, and check your inbox in case you have missed a message from Dr. Jensen.
